Clear Conclusion

As with most positions in career-style private sector employment, along with knowledge, skills, and abilities a candidate is expected to be a team player. As such, they must fit in with ease to help the cause and achieve the company’s goals.

Goals in business are pretty simple. If a void is found, ideas are kicked around, a solution is agreed upon, products and/or services are offered, which finally lead to money made for the company. Amen.

The company’s backers – often stockholders – are suddenly recipients of dividends for taking a risk on creating something new out of whole cloth. Most ground-up business ventures, however, fail nearly daily due to a compendium of societal speed bumps.

International viruses, guvment rules and regulations, climate and weather issues, commodities, and such certainly contribute to the success of both companies and guvment, alike. There are several differences with distinctions, though.

Guvment entities at federal, state, and local levels have the Power that businesses do not. Guvment agencies possess the ability to continue business as usual through taxing individuals and companies for more revenue, unlike those individuals and companies that must somehow pull more extortion monies from their butts. Those same agencies further often employ unreasonable regulatory hurdles that hurt businesses competitively.

Politicians are those special people who feel they are entitled to everything – everything – just because. While running for a spot on the ballot, they promise the world and more to everyone.

Free this, free that, and more free this, just so that they get the nomination. Once on the campaign trail they employ piety to attract kind people’s attention. They also promise to help the downtrodden in society with drug addiction rehabilitation, lower housing costs, more favorable interest rates, in addition to the proverbial chicken in every pot.

This is where the rubber meets the road. Guvments – be they local, state, or federal – produce only two things: hot air and red tape.

Guvments don’t make cars, candles, shovels, toilets, clothing, wristwatches, or even guns and tanks for the military. Since they produce nothing, they have absolutely no knowledge as to what a profit is, or how to turn a deficit into one without using a gun and getaway car.

An $85 shoelace
If a guvment agency needs a military boot shoelace, they contract out for one. Probably about $7 in a local department store; the cost will rise to about $85 from an approved vendor after bureaucratic procedure. Not a bad haul.

Yes, politicians run America much like the Sicilian Mafia (La Cosa Nostra) allegedly ran their operations in America. With the benefit of graft, corruption, payouts, and extortion, La Cosa Nostra became involved in many facets of life for which people begged; unfortunately, they were operated with benefits slanted toward the Mafia and against the people.

If that sounds familiar, you may remember happenings under the Barack Hussein Obama administration. God-like President Obama promised health coverage for everyone in America. Bar none!

People were agog as that swishy commander-in-chief paraded around stages across the nation making the same pledge at each venue: free or affordable healthcare for everyone.

But that was a lie, and Big Mike’s wife knew it was a lie. Conning the public into believing his bulls hit, a lopsided Democratic Congress passed the Affordable Care Act which was anything but.

In the details hid the important part about taxpayer-funded premiums that would be paid by those citizens who dutifully acquired their own health insurance. The fix was in, though. And that secret part of the ObamaCare bill expired under the Donald J. Trump second term.

With astronomical tax hikes needed to continue this half-baked Ponzi scheme, Congressional Democrats began lying about President Trump’s kicking people off their healthcare plans. Fortunately, this stenchy maneuver exposed the Democrats for the thieves they are.

This is only one example of the massive con game with which politicians have been grifting the American public for decades. Lie about the legislation, pass bills in the dead-of-night, then blame exorbitant tax hikes to cover their smarmy deeds on the other side of the aisle.

On the flip side, corporate America operates exactly the opposite. Very little in the way of money is spent unless there is an excellent chance of return-on-investment, or a favorable action is on the horizon.

The United States military, as of December 2025, had 2.81 million service members worldwide, including 1.33 million active-duty troops, according to usafacts.org. That’s a lot.

Take firearms manufacturers, for example. That same U.S. military mentioned above uses firearms and, I dare say, should have at least one firearm per soldier – plus a couple extra in case some get lost, stolen, captured, or break.

All of these firearms are purchased through guvment contracts to supply the troops. Tanks, airplanes, ammunition, ships, helmets, even boots and troop underwear, are all purchased from vendors. Those vendors vie for contracts with competitive bids. Often, those bids are subject to Congressional scrutiny. Remember those shoelaces?

The bidders are comprised of private corporations who make their money not from higher taxes they simply impose, rather they are selected by dedicated committees to make the final determination for lucrative, long-term contracts.

What could possibly go wrong?

Well, it seems as though many of Congress’ Best could be tempted to hold out voting on a contract for goods and services in exchange for ‘special considerations.’ Perhaps those contracts could be steered to minorities, maybe a gratuity is involved as a way to say “Thanks!”

Which calls to mind a searing question about how a civilian entering Congress with an annual salary of about $179,000, can be worth over $20,000,000 withing five years in guvment service. Baffling, right?

Short of stealing Rayburn House Office Building cafeteria tip jar money, I cannot imagine from where those magical income disclosure numbers come. And apparently neither do their winking fellow Congressmen.

Finally, let’s look at unemployment in America.

According usfiscalclock.com, as of September 24, 2026, the estimated unemployment figure stands at 7,000,000 eligible full-time workers.

Perhaps it is time to put these, and other, idle people to work by having them manufacture weaponry, helicopters, clothing, tires, ammunition, prepackaged troop food (MREs), and even walnut Congressional desks and matching chairs, to stop possible contract shakedowns, manufacturing issues, and supply chain hurdles.

All this will likely alleviate the unemployment situation about which the Democratic Party is constantly carping. Simply put, a clear conclusion.

Otherwise, these phony do-gooders will be summarily placed front and center in the spotlight of criticism, and rightly so. To do nothing to rectify any and all bad economic situations borders on criminal. It further places each Representative not interested in the missing-in-action category, to be remembered come election day.

It is now up to you, the voter. You’ll get what you asked for.

Libtards

Since the 1990’s, a political divide has been hanging over America largely created by liberals. Often imitating cantankerous children in adult bodies, the shenanigans of these malcontents have been making news simply for their outrageousness.

Fighting with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agents, setting police stations afire, looting stores, generating violent flash mobs, shooting innocent motorists while carjacking, in addition to a seemingly endless display of apparent hatred toward societal norms, has created an enduring scenario of once normal life that has morphed into mayhem.

Of course, none of this would be possible were it not for the legacy media steering these liberals toward extortionate behavior through manufactured information, also known as “fake news.”

Fake news was first discovered in 2003 in Iraq. America was in an invasion in that Middle Eastern septic tank while attempting to overthrow then-dictator Saddam Hussein. With U.S. forces overtaking the capitol, the Iraq spokesman, Baghdad Bob, insisted Iraq had the situation was under control. Bob assured the TV camera the Iraq army had the United States’ military on its heels, all on live television.

It was a lie. Army tanks were plainly seen rolling down the streets in the panoramic window behind Bob making this farce all the more humorous. Yet the American media asserted our armed forces were in a pickle. That is called being complicit.

Realizing they held genuine sway with distributing propaganda in place of news, the stage was suddenly set to tell the American public whatever they wanted whenever they wanted.

But another critical element was percolating that needed to be cemented in place in order to continue with this ruse. The average citizen needed to be dumbed down in order to create an accepting audience for this tripe.

The ultimate solutions were to make schoolteachers complicit using propaganda as teaching aids, plus encouraging the media to ignore critical news stories altogether. What a great scheme.

Unfortunately, this massive public goat rodeo doesn’t end here.

Enter the sphere of vocabulary. Words have meanings, and that is important to know. Our language has been modified to reflect specific agendas for decades. Babies became fetuses, fetuses became unviable life sources, destructive arson became peaceful demonstrations, illegal aliens became undocumented citizens, and ‘Make America Great Again’ became a legitimate target for practically every low IQ person.

Also included in this list is a very useful and legitimate word: retarded. Its official definition is “affected with impaired intellectual development; occurring or developing later than desired or expected; socially inappropriate or foolish,” according to the American Heritage Dictionary. Amen.

Yet to be bastardized or verboten as a handful of words have been prescribed by the anointed in guvment, specialized racial and social categories, and the aforementioned media, retarded still has rightful meaning, like it or not.

Once used as a descriptor in auto maintenance – advancing or retarding timing from top dead center – when setting ignition points, it simply addresses the appropriate position when which spark plug fires.

Often chiding people for using this word, the powers-that-be attempt to cloak the intelligence of those who participate in outlandish public speaking, besides “serving” the people in guvmental roles as politicians. And therein lies the problem.

Combined with their proud “liberal” moniker, “retard” has also taken on a new life in the apt new noun: libtard.

Evidently in an effort to protect sensitivities of slower or uneducated members of society, the term retard has taken on an avoided path through the English language. And that’s too bad.

But libtard is gaining strength in both validity and conciseness and should not be excised from the lexicon as a valid word.

Take, for instance, the latest displays of stupidity in America. New York City (NYC) voters elected a world-class clown to be their mayor. Spouting platitudes about saving money, Zohran Mamdani spent his campaign, as well as his first months in office, badmouthing President Donald Trump for anything and everything.

Not being able to run for president himself, Mamdani and his Democratic Socialists of America Party (DSA) are clearly deficient in their understanding of economics and government. Promises of free this and low cost that for voters are not unlike a child-like mind spouting delusions of grandeur. But facts are now getting in the way of delivering on those lofty expectations. Time to blame Trump.

Equally complicit in this poop hurricane are the NYC voters themselves. Largely hoped for and contrived by Libtards, this systematic disassembly of The Big Apple via absolute mismanagement can be blamed only on the person in the mirror.

Being slow learners, Democrats and Democratic Party supporters are suddenly viewing a cresting wave of popularity exhibited by Mamdani’s mayoral win and subsequent notoriety. Desperately stepping upon one another attempting to board the DSA train to grab a ride to the 2028 elections the near-sighted Democrats see their regular tax-and-spend method of governing as a new movement of taking-from-the-rich to buy more votes.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez,
wannabe president

Fifty-nine percent of the Democratic Party members have already made the leap adding “Socialist” to their party affiliation, with DSA leaders already measuring for new drapes in the White House. Included in that list of turncoats are Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, and relic Bernie Sanders, all leading the gaggle of America-haters and seditionists.

Seeing their Biden-era open border plan coming to fruition, these DSAers’ goals are to shred The Constitution, pack the Supreme Court, dissolve law enforcement across the nation, release prisoners, re-open the borders, give everyone cost-free medical insurance, fade out the military, confiscate private property, plus eliminate debt from all borrowers. All are realistic goals if the Libtards can elect more simple-minded politicians into office by equally ignorant voters.

With Americans begging for change, the sleaziest of the political world are averring their might and knowledge as DSA “solutions” to the state of the nation. After making President Donald Trump, as well as his MAGA followers, targets of slander and violence, the Democrats seem to be in control of their own destiny.

Thousands upon thousands of brainwashed college-aged children have been regularly and openly marching for the genocide of the Jewish population for some years now. Agreeable college and university presidents, chancellors, and professors are either turning a blind eye or encouraging this sordid behavior. But why?

Their ultimate goal is to destroy and replace the United States of America with a Communistic style of guvment, with Jews as their societal scapegoat. That ain’t good for anyone – including the savages who are pulling out all stops to achieve their goal.

If they’re unhappy with the way things are in America, they are welcome to leave to return to the landfill from they came. And those numb-minded Americans who want to mollycoddle foreigners, putting first before natives, should go with them. They represent the perfect definition of Libtard.

Expecting Too Much

According to most websites associated with business strategies, setting realistic expectations, delivering on your promises, and consistently going above and beyond, can create memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression on your customers.

These references further state that by implementing this strategy in your business, you should be able to watch as your reputation and customer satisfaction soar.

If this sounds like a good idea to you, and you’re not a business person, here’s an easy question: To what aspects of your life would the first two paragraphs make an improvement? Along this same vein, to which personal scenario would these same two paragraphs not help?

Take all the time you need. I’ll stop typing and wait for you.

Of course, these are both individualized ponderings unique to each of you. But realistically, it would be nice to see those strategies applied to practically every segment of life thereby creating what might seem like a personal Eden.

Let’s say you have a dog or a cat, or both. Before you picked out your animal companion you likely imagined nurturing walks in the park, a snuggled bed, toys, healthy pet foods, leashes, grooming tools, along with potential traveling challenges. Some of these decisions are simpler than others, yet all are important.

A nasty flea and DSA supporter
Suddenly, you realize your new pet comes with far more in the way of trouble than you ever imagined. Your dog barks incessantly, your cat enjoys scratching the upholstered furniture, plus veterinarian visits are terribly expensive. And then there are fleas.

All this baggage should give potential “fur baby” parent(s) pause. Behavior modification tools are readily available to deal with these and other hiccups. Yet they usually deal with each situation, simply adapting and moving on, as they should.

Usually taking the blame are the pets. But is that really where the finger pointing belongs? Pets aren’t normally well-behaved Mensa members. Just as with humans, pets come with a variety of problems that should have been identified – before adoption – not afterward.

This is where we begin today’s ponderous adventure in “How in Hell Did We Wind Up Here?”

Upon examination, we, as an amenable people, are usually willing to place our trust in so many things and people as well as pets.

We get scammed because we are vulnerable to sad tales, teary puppy eyes, sobbing, plus what ifs. What ifs are those speculative posits that allow each individual person to conjure up in their own outcome of good or bad.

Recall when the mega lottery games occasionally reach atmospheric heights. We bought a ticket in hopes of winning an unimaginable amount of stupid money; that’s when the what ifs began on a positive note. A new house, expensive automobiles, fabulous trips, and perhaps a yacht belong in the what if conversations.

On the flip side, a medical matter is terrifying because they are not known to be inexpensive. In the event of such, people are goaded into buying awfully pricey health insurance to defray the astronomical medication prices and avoid a potential – what if – bankruptcy.

But for all the intelligent people living in America, we always seem to gravitate to what seems as though are ‘good deals.’

Trusting individuals of all ages are regularly taken in by scams, confidence games, bait and switch cons, even by those politicians who wear expensive suits accompanied by toothy smiles.

Usually beginning almost two-years out, many of these pols send out feelers to test the waters of potential topics. Using multiple polling services, wanna-be civil servants hire seemingly countless staff members who glom onto the aspirations of these silver-tongued devils, hoping to acquire a meaningful position if their candidate is elected.

Witness the current New York City (NYC) poop hurricane. A foreign transplant from Uganda, the insufferable Zohran Mamdani arose from literally nowhere to become the mayor of NYC with the aforementioned suit and grin. This go-funny-eyed serial liar weaseled his way into Gracie Mansion riding a papier-mȃché sedan chair, toted by adoring sycophants.

Promising inexpensive grocery stores, free bus rides, low cost housing, taxing the wealthy, and private business takeovers, Mayor Mamdani rode the wave of electoral enthusiasm without barely getting damp. Once behind the Mayor’s desk, his brilliant plans and promises were finally revealed as smoke and mirrors of a colossal con job.

But the damage was already done. His antagonism toward America and Americans enveloped the Big Apple like a stinky fart, carrying over into his seething hatred toward Jews, Republicans, Jews, blacks, Jews, and Jews. What could possibly go wrong?

Since you asked, plenty.

This exhibition of unemployed, youthful ignorant voters getting what they asked for inspired seemingly countless, additional clueless voters to stand in line to meet and greet the new harvest of Democratic Socialist of America (DSA) weeds.

I refer to them as weeds because although they appear green, they suck vital nutrients and water from the ground that a grassy green lawn needs to survive. Soon, they have drained everything wholesome leaving behind mud, thorns, and prickles.

Still relatively new to the electoral-political system in America, DSAers bring with them a haughtiness that is abrasive to hard workers who built this nation into a welcoming home for law-abiding people who wished to join our freedom-loving social experiment.

Now growing roots herein, DSAers are anxious to change all this freedom and opportunity into a proven communistic system that favors mayhem, envy, and sloth over hard work and honesty.

With lies, lies, and more lies, these DSAers have been shoveling hypnotic-like ideas and subsequent platitudes throughout podcasts, internet exposés, as well as news bites, all to the delight of weak minded supporters who hear the half-baked messages they want to hear.

Senate, Congressional, gubernatorial, and mayoral candidates have been finding themselves out maneuvering their Democratic Party buddies, although the Democrats insist DSA-types are welcome into their Big Tent. You betcha.

An excellent example of ‘Beware of what you wish for,’ can easily be located in a place called Hamtramck, Michigan. Once a Polish-American community, Hamtramck attracted new immigrants from Yemen, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, with open arms.

To demonstrate their wokeness, the LGBTQ (I’ll forego the other 17-identifying letters,) community welcomed and encouraged these newcomers to their town of about 28,000 residents. Today, it is the only Muslim-majority city in the United States.

Run by a duly-elected Muslim mayor, and governed by an all-Muslim city council, Hamtramck has now decided the LGBTQ (I’m still foregoing the other 17-identifying letters,) community members could not fly their precious, all-important Pride Flags. What’s up with that?

It seems as though the Muslim powers-that-be have taken offense at the symbolism of that sexual proclivity flag and prohibited its open use on Hamtramck streets. That is called getting what you asked for. It also encompasses not doing your homework.

Not unlike a much wanted puppy peeing on your Berber carpet, or rescued kitty clawing a Queen Anne chair, you should not be surprised by any and all inconveniences that arrived with your welcoming gestures and anticipations.

The bottom line is that Hamtramck Muslims, Zohran Mamdani, along with the rest of the DSAers got where they are not just because of the sleazy tactics, lack of candor, or faҫades. They got to where they are because the voter unrealistically expected too much. And the voters received what they deserve.

Remember this story when you’re casting your ballot for representation.

Now they need to be prepared for the flea infestation.

Holiday Retread

Because I deserve time off just as much as my readers, I'm taking Labor Day 2026 off.  As such, please enjoy this retread - not unlike remanufactured tires - until next week.

Until then, happy Labor Day!

--------------------------------------------------

Forward to 1865

What was old is now new. Take, for example, electric cars. Electric vehicles were experimented with by several auto manufacturers as far back as the 1830’s, in Scotland. Attempting to find a suitable battery was difficult, inasmuch as electricity for charging was still widely unavailable.

After a period of deep thinking, European auto manufacturers decided, in 1901, that the internal combustion engine was far less expensive to manufacture and maintain than electric vehicles. But now they’re new again in 2025.

Then there are bell bottom britches. Exactly where bell bottom pants were born is a mystery, but they were adopted by the U.S. Navy in 1901, for use by sailors. They were found to be more easily able to be doffed by an overboard sailor preventing drowning. Used during World War I, they became accepted as a fashion must for both men and women.

Eventually, they disappeared until being “rediscovered” in the 1960’s and 1970’s as an accessory in the fashion world, again, when thought of as new. (As an aside, I also had a pair of bell bottoms, and I looked good.)

Not to be outdone, the brain trust of California’s transportation system thought it would be a terrific idea to make traveling throughout the Eureka State more safe, comfortable, and efficient by building a railway system.

You read that right. Someone who didn’t learn about the rail systems of America, Europe, or the Far East, in elementary school apparently stumbled upon something termed “trains.”

Trains have been around for hundreds of years in varying forms to include electric, steam, plus diesel, that have not only proved efficient, but cost effective, as well. They were successful in transporting both goods and people across a developing nation for many, many years.

Trains began waning following the Civil War ending in 1865, in favor of the new mode of transportation called the automobile.

As with all things, they age; some things age better than others. And just because they were once beneficial to ‘their times,’ doesn’t mean they should or could be revived.

Gavin Newsom pointing to the direction
his popularity is heading

Creating the California High-Speed Rail Program (CHSRP), California Gubernor Gavin Newsom thought it would be amazing if he could build this much-wanted boondoggle to showcase his forward-thinking abilities.

Promising this rail system would service areas from San Francisco to Los Angeles, was the easy part. Using a media blitz to promote and continue enthusiasm has become arduous, though.

With the CHSRP using the ol’ razzle dazzle game, they continue to cheer lead this bottomless money pit. Visiting

https://hsr.ca.gov/2025/01/06/news-release-californias-high-speed-rail-program-celebrates-progress-and-highlights-next-steps-towards-operations/

will take you to a website of fluff, along with nebulous platitudes that may actually invoke a case of Type 2 Diabetes.

Enthusiastically bragging about working on 171-miles of track, following the creation of more than 14,500 construction jobs, this statement from CHSRP gives one the impression this exercise was making great headway.

Unfortunately, this saga has been seemingly never ending. Beginning with early visions in the 1990’s, this high speed rail system had planned to remove cars from the roadways thereby relieving congestion.

With $9.95 billion in bonds sold in 2008, this pipe dream was well underway to becoming a reality.

Officially breaking ground in 2015, the section between Bakersfield and Merced, seemed like the easiest place to start. “The goal was to complete this segment first and then connect to the more populace areas,” according to brilliantmaps.com. That was ten-years ago, for your information.

This lofty project was expected to be complete by 2020, but the timeline has now reached beyond 2030. Financial issues have also plagued the project. “Originally projected to cost $33 billion,” brilliantmaps.com continues, “the project’s estimated cost has ballooned to over $128 billion. As a result, the funding shortfalls have become a significant obstacle. The federal government initially provided some support through stimulus funding during the Obama administration.”

Gubernor Newsom has arrived at a place where he, as well as his CHSRP, must explain where all those billions and billions of tax dollars went over the last 17-years. The bigger mystery is where the additional $95,000,000,000 will go. However, the biggest enigma is what are all those 14,500-construction people doing? Something to ponder.

California is proud to declare itself a state in which a resident needs a vehicle to travel. Widespread, Los Angeles itself is nearly impossible to navigate without a car, thereby demanding more wider roads, which create more pollution, necessitating additional traffic enforcement, besides vehicle registrations and inspections – all of which demand additional citizen’s taxes, handled by an obese bureaucracy.

Leading this charge, Gubernor Newsom fancies himself as frugal, when in fact, he is a spendthrift. Showing little regard for taxpayers, residents, drivers, and consumers, Newsom has been attempting to use this as one of his résumé items for 2028 presidential bid.

It’s too bad he’s desperately reaching backward into 1865 for tomorrow’s answers; not the brilliance for which one would hope in a leader.

His 2024 visit to The White House appeared to signal his own intention to run for the highest office. Seemingly measuring the Oval Office for new drapes, Newsom remained tight-lipped when asked speculative questions concerning this clear perusal of his future Washington, D.C. residence.

Pretending to not know of what reporters are referring, Newsom, to this day, has been making ‘presidential-like’ statements regarding current President Donald Trump’s behavior and actions concerning day-to-day operations. His scowl, complimented by his furrowed brow is a dead giveaway when determining if his audition is, indeed, authentic.

With poor decisions dangling from his neck much like cheap jewelry, Gubernor Newsom has been ignoring those faux pas collected akin to cheesy Mardi Gras beads. Wildfires, riotous protests, anti-Semitic rallies, transgender (Title IX) sports issues, illegal alien invaders, his environmental debacle, accompanied by outrageous and punitive tax policies, have all been gleefully explained away as “progress.”

Newsom apparently feels as though there’s a secret reset button that he’s able to push that will effectively erase all his past sins.

Sniffing out media cameras and microphones better than a bloodhound, Newsom seems to enjoy any and all havoc he creates in the name of forward thinking.

Unfortunately, all this forward thinking doesn’t include a Venn Diagram that encompasses from where all his stellar policies and dictums funding will come.

As with many – maybe most – guvment projects, funding monies be damned. The populace is seen as a giant cash cow to create a facade that rarely can be called a success without politicians and other guvment honchos digging into the wallet pockets of constituents.

If Gubernor Newsom wants to sit at America’s helm, he will need to quickly learn that our nation is not hankering for another spend-then-tax the populace. Based on his political track record, he doesn’t have a clue about budgets, much less constituents.

It’s time to send him into the private sector for a taste of how a real job works.
