Imagine

Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s, introduced my generation to things other than previous time periods. Of course, we had the seemingly endless Vietnam War and subsequent loss of lives, but we also had the “mod” culture creating hep kids, along with their equally hep parents, via drugs and free sex.

Meeting in colleges and universities, these new free-spirited kids were encouraged to experiment with ways to soften the speed bumps in life’s highways, something these youngsters were told was germane to them – never felt or experienced by previous generations of shavers.

Together, these young pukes were offered alternatives to life’s angst-causing tension. To make this tension more palatable besides mainstream, the clinical term “stress” was created, and applied as an excuse for any and all shortcomings in life.

The cure? Sex, drugs, and rock and roll were the prescribed solutions to relieving stress, and the already long-indulging college professors were more than willing to introduce a ‘virgin’ group of stressed out students to coping with life.

But to make this societal leap across the chasm of morals, the normalization of taboo acts and items needed to be bridged.

Drug use, including the mundane smokable marijuana, plus intravenous heroin, and exotic cocaine, became readily available to most youngsters agog to experiment with new things to exorcise their stress.

This availability of stress relievers allowed kids and adults, alike, to enjoy life more by engaging in more sex. Unfortunately, all that sex came with a price in the form of unwanted pregnancies. Abortions were illegal so, a societal push was generated to legalize something called abortions.

A tidy term, abortions were highly glossed over by explaining them as a means to terminate pregnancies. Exceptionally light on the details, abortions became a legalized way to ‘have your cake and eat it, too.’

Using legislation to permit the unfettered extermination of unwanted babies, the term was quickly modified from abortion to reflect something more sedate; women’s reproductive health care. While shifting the blame from the potential mother to the unwanted baby, this avenue to eugenics seemed to open the door to debauchery, exponentially.

As means of reinforcement of this movement, the music morphed from innocent doo-wop and street corner harmonizing into ballads full of propaganda about drug use, as well as the elimination of religion – in particular, God.

Until World War II, mainstream music consisted of orchestras led by familiar names such as Kay Kaiser, Bennie Goodman, and Count Basie, to name a few, until rock and roll surfaced across radio airwaves, plus the still relatively new medium, television.

TV allowed listeners to not only hear the artists performing, they were could now also see their singers and musicians performing.

This new visual exposé showed the world boys and men sporting long hair, women scantily clad, musicians rocking with their guitars, with most wearing bell bottomed blue jeans. Times were changing.

But it was the songs themselves that influenced the direction of America through this cultural modification, for better or worse; there was no going back.

One of the more influential bands was The Beatles. Comprised of John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr, this modest-size band from England brought a new sound, and new look, in addition to a new attitude readily accepted by the anxious youth.

The Beatles

Although exceptional, in terms of popularity and their ability to influence, The Beatles were decaying before our eyes. Being internally divided by their significant others, the longevity of this quartet marvel couldn’t bear the weight of its own success.

John Lennon, one of the primary song and lyric writers, felt compelled to pen a song titled “Imagine.”

Here are the lyrics in case you never heard this song to allow you to better decide if this was one of the earliest attempts to destroy America by removing religion and other norms.

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today... Aha-ah...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace... You...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world... You...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Such abilities to influence are rare, but to actually witness this effort of destroying religion, morals, and chastity borders on unbelievable.

Yet here we are about a half-century later debating as to just how our nation reached the current level of self-destruction through the simple changing of norms.

America spent the last four-years debating how a mentally deficient man could run – and win a presidential election – by hiding in his basement. With the compliant media pushing their agenda to prevent candidate Donald J. Trump from winning the race, the “news” we heard and saw was simply manufactured to fit an agenda.

With repeated drum-banging that awful Trump and his supporters are evil – even Nazi-like – the narrative was set to alter peoples’ minds in an effort to make a lie the truth.

Using racism, misogyny, and xenophobia as diversions, calling candidate Trump “Hitler” did no favors for the unity of America society. All the while, this tripe began having the opposite effect on a dissatisfied voting bloc. Suddenly, the complicit media found themselves awash in questions as to President Joe Biden and his meteoric rise to the Executive Office.

After a lopsided election, enough smart voters chose Donald Trump over mannequin Biden. And with this exposure of electing a fireplace log as the Commander-in-Chief, in 2020, the intelligent among us felt it was time for a change.

But now the 2028 wannabes are jockeying for position for their own run toward The White House. Names such as J.B. Pritzker, Gavin Newsom, Bernie Sanders, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, all have their eyes on the prize, and will hold nothing back to achieve that goal.

Although more than three years away, these sleazes have been verbally maligning President Trump along with his societal-saving plans for a strong, safe, independent America.

With the election of Trump into the Oval Office for his second term, our changes for survival seem more promising for survival than a year ago. But it is time for imagining the hatred and slaughter of Jews by mentally deficient, self-anointed, wackos, being hidden by that tired media who excel at keeping important facts hidden.

Still, the Democrat clown show performs its antagonism against fellow Americans. It’s high time to begin legal action to stymie the hate and carnage against people they dislike.
