Once upon a time there were two people, appearing to be women, who were on the campaign trail to hold a very high political office.
Citizens living in the Commonwealth of Virginia were recently facing an election to make one of these women the new gubenor for the next four-years. Virginia is a state that allows its gubenor to serve for a term limit of four-years; that’s not a bad idea when a terrible gubenor is elected.
This historic race to the statehouse occurred in 2025, in the midst of a nation in a downward spiral – plummeting towards Earth like a jet plane that had run out of fuel due to our previous spendthrift president, Joe Biden.
The economy was dragging down hard working citizens through high interest rates, outrageous diesel and gas prices, unaffordable housing, overpriced vehicles, new minimum wage statutes taking effect, all of which created a perfect poop storm. Let’s not forget the much-touted Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as: ObamaCare, coming to delayed terms of doubling premiums, all devised and encouraged by the America-hating Democrats.
Upon the 2021 inauguration of President Plugs Biden, Democrats opened the United States’ gates protecting our sovereign nation thereby letting in anyone – ANYONE – who had a hankering to live in prosperous America. No questions asked. What could possibly go wrong?
In the event you forgot, it was 2021 when we found ourselves in the throes of something called COVID-19. That was a flu the anointed political DC-ites transformed into a pandemic. According to guvment authorities, COVID was the biggest scourge since the early 1900’s Spanish flu pandemic, and important steps needed to be followed to ensure the population’s safety.
Over the next few Biden-years, an invasion of unprecedented proportions occurred with foreigners pouring across our borders. The problem quietly centered around the fact that these roughly 12 million undocumented, unhireable crossers arrived without COVID-19 vaccinations, polio vaccines, MMR shots, public health records, or even the Saint Dr. Anthony Fauci-approved face masks. Alas.
Yet no one in authority saw a problem. Village upon village ordered citizens arrested for ignoring the face mask and six-foot separation rules, although they were purely arbitrary in nature. But it didn’t take long to decipher the secret codes associated with these draconian regulations that cost countless military personnel and public servants their jobs for not being compliant. After all, it was in the name of public safety, we were told.
Of course those lies were only beginning. Border officials, federal cabinet members, doctors, television news readers, pundits, and gubenors nation-wide demanded orders be followed to the letter because: No one was above the law, and no questions were allowed to be asked.
This unprecedented display of power drew egotists into political careers to satisfy their thus-far unsatiated craving for not only authority, but unfettered authority. Enter two history-making women from Virginia.
It seems as though Abigail Spanberger who served as a U.S. Representative for Virginia’s 7th Congressional District from 2019 to 2025, thought the water toe-test was conducive for a run to the statehouse. She is a member of the blue Democratic Party.
With her rèsumé nauseatingly distributed via constant TV campaign ads, Spanberger proudly announced her former work as an intelligence officer at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) besides holding down her position as a mother living in Leftist-oriented Fairfax County, VA.
On the red Republican side of the aisle was another female candidate named Winsome Earle-Sears who was interested in moving her office across the hall from her current location. You see, Earle-Sears ably served as Virginia’s Lieutenant Gubenor under Gubenor Glenn Youngkin, without controversy.
Lt. Gubenor Earle-Sears cut her teeth as a career United States Marine, after which she became a businesswoman, in addition to securing a seat in the Virginia House of Delegates.
Democrats were eager to support Democrat Spanberger because Democrats love Democrats. And Democrats detest Republicans because they are simply awful by virtue of being, well, racist.
But here’s the rub: Lt. Gubernor Earle-Sears is not only a Republican favorite, but she happens to have another much-desired attribute that draws Democrats like moths to a flame; she is additionally black.

Democrats were clamoring to find blindfolds to cover their eyes in case a member of the legacy media asked them a question as to ‘Why aren’t you backing Ms. Earle-Sears?’
Feigning blindness, Virginia Democrats rallied their troops around Ms. Spanberger because...they suddenly had a memory lapse from their “diversity, equity, inclusion” cheerleading. It appeared as though the party that brought us the Ku Klux Klan really doesn’t enjoy the polite company of black women over white women, after all.
With the proverbial cat out of the bag, Dems shifted Spanberger’s run into overdrive by easily outspending Earle-Sears by lots. This odd imbalance was applauded by the Left, with surprises being readied behind the scenes.
This contentious race wound up being lopsided in favor of Ms. Spanberger whose campaign promising moderation, economic frugality, childcare, housing, education, representation for all, unity, healthcare, reaching across the aisle, besides increasing police presence, among the other predictable platitudes, found herself quickly changing directions following her swearing-in ceremony.
Now is a good time to explain the grifts that go along with calling Virginia ‘home.’ Most notably, Virginia, also known as The Old Dominion, has produced eight presidents, making it the state with the most presidents in U.S. history.
Beside that, Virginia has had a monumental run converting its ‘red’ status into ‘purple,’ by rapidly moving from a conservative to progressive venue through the regular elections of ‘blue’ candidates. This shift plainly signals the direction from which it came, to that which it is heading.
Unreasonable taxation has become the norm in Virginia over the past half-century. One of the more creative methods Old Dominion politicians have used to pick-pocket its residents is though something called “property tax.”
Property tax is a levy placed on vehicles in the state. Not unlike the ever-unpopular real estate tax, property tax is collected by the county-level treasurer every year – EVERY YEAR – to resemble a punishment on vehicles. This punitive way to keep safe, reliable cars and trucks on the roads forces drivers to give the state a set percentage of money, annually, lest they be fined.
Although the rates are relatively modest, they are based on the Kelly Blue Book value of your vehicle. In other words, the older the car, the lower the tax. This actually discourages citizens from purchasing new or newer transportation to avoid this financial punishment. By the way, trailers, campers, boats and motor homes were included in an expansion of the tax a few years back. Yea!
Ms. Spanberger is seriously considering expanding this assessment on – if you’re standing while reading this, please have a seat – lawnmowers. Go ahead and re-read that last sentence. I’ll wait for you.
Yep. In addition to making our environment cleaner, she also wants to outlaw leaf blowers. Not a bad idea since nobody will be mowing their lawns anyway. Just sayin’.
And those aforementioned increased police presence initiatives, a few paragraphs back, are aimed at focusing the police away from immigration-related crimes, to anything but helping the federal guvment enforce federal laws. Probably because she’s a law-and-order gal, just like her retired police officer daddy was.
Further, she desperately wants a ban on something called “assault weapons,” whatever today’s definition of those are, while making housing more affordable for immigrants, the poor, and elderly. Let’s hope she shows us how this brilliant plan is going to work as she continues her quest to make Virginia more affordable without raising taxes.
According to MSN, “Youngkin left Virginia with a $2 billion budget surplus. Yet, Democrats are aiming to impose new individual taxes on investments, trusts, and estates and sales taxes on gym memberships, dry cleaning, landscaping, pet boarding, and other yet untapped areas of ‘revenue.’ There are new proposed taxes on deliveries from Amazon, Uber Eats, FedEx, and so on. There is also a new 11% tax on firearm and ammunition purchases tat you can still buy.”
In fact, it doesn’t matter. The Virginia citizens were snookered into voting for a woman who lied to them like all other Democrats. Now those voters have to suffer the consequences for 1,460 days. They were sold a bill of goods while giving Abigail Spanberger her audition for her ultimate goal: the presidency.
Consider this historic action a wake up call for those wanting to be part of history. The only positive thing I can find in all this is that she can only serve one term.
After that, everyone will live happily ever after.
